Terms & conditions - RFU Autumn Prize Draw

These Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (the "Prize Draw Terms”) are an agreement between you and us and apply if you have chosen to enter the Prize Draw between 00:01 on 09 October 2025 and 23:59 on 16 October 2025 (“Promotional Period”).

The “Promoter” is John Lewis plc. In these Offer Terms, “we” or “us” means John Lewis plc, 1 Drummond Gate, Pimlico, London SW1V 2QQ.

The Rugby Football Union is the prize fulfilment organisation and personal data will be shared with them for these purposes only.
Who Can Enter

The Prize Draw is open to residents ages 18 years or over of the United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland, Employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, agents, third parties or anyone else professionally connected with this Prize Draw are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

Entrants must be UK residents and aged 18 or over.

John Lewis and Waitrose Partners, employees, their immediate families, contractors, agents or any third party, including Rugby Football Union, directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw are excluded from the Prize Draw.
How to Enter

To be eligible for the Prize Draw, on the Prize Draw webpage, you must select the correct answer to the question shown.

The ability to enter the Prize Draw will be withdrawn at 00.00 am on 16 October 2025 and no more entries will be accepted after this date.

No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

If you meet the requirements set out in these Prize Draw Terms and complete the actions laid out in 7, you will be eligible for one (1) entry into the prize draw only (the “ Prize Draw ”).
The Prize

There is only one prize available to be won in this Prize Draw, four hospitality tickets (4) for the following Quilter Nations Series rugby match (the “Rugby Match”): England vs New Zealand at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham. 15th November 2025.

One (1) individual winner will be picked at random to win a set of four tickets to attend the Rugby Match shown above.

Any travel or accommodation that the winners require in order to attend the selected Rugby Match in paragraph 12 will be at their own cost and is not included in the Prize offering. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for accommodation or transport being unavailable.

Prize subject to availability, if not available the Promoter reserves the right to change the prize, including a replacement fixture or alternative prize.

The Promoter is not responsible for any delays or other such circumstances which may prevent the winners from claiming the Prizes, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
Winner Selection & Notification

All valid and eligible entries received during the Promotional Period will be entered into the relevant Prize Draw for the England match against New Zealand on 15th November 2025 at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham. The winner for the Prize Draw will be picked at random on 31 October 2025.

The winner will be notified by email by a representative of the Promoter by 6 November, using the email address we use to contact you about this Prize Draw. Failure to claim the Prize using the details provided in the email will result in the Prize being forfeited

To access the Prize, winners will require access to a mobile phone to download the Allianz Twickenham App, and will be required to provide the Promoter with their mobile number for this purpose. Data Protection and Publicity

By opting in to the Prize Draw, you understand that for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw and the Prize fulfilment, it is necessary for the Promoter to hold and process your personal data.

We will treat all of your personal data as confidential and will only collect, store and use your personal information, including Name, Email address, Mobile Number in order to promote and administer the Prize Draw and not for any other purpose without your consent. Entry into this Prize Draw will not change any existing marketing preferences you may have registered with The John Lewis Partnership who owns and operates John Lewis and Waitrose. If you are a winner of the Prize Draw, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, surname, instagram handle and county of residence to announce the winner of this Prize Draw and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes, for no further consideration, unless the winners do not consent to their information being published or being made available. Should a winner opt out of publicity, they may request that their details are only made available under 7.3 to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) if requested by the ASA.

The winners’ personal details will be kept on file for up to a year in order to meet our regulatory reporting requirements and may be shared with regulators upon their request. Personal information for all other entrants will be held on for as long as is necessary to administer the Prize Draw and then securely destroyed when the Prize has been delivered to the winner.
Limitation of Liability

The Promoter and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this prize draw or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The winner and their guest takes part in the Prize at their own risk and to the fullest extent allowed by law; the Promoter accepts no liability with regard to such Prize whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability in connection with any circumstances outside their control with respect to the Prize.
General Terms

The Promoter may at its absolute discretion award the Prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original winner or dispose of the Prize at its discretion without liability to the winner.

There are no charges associated with opting to enter the Prize Draw.

No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are delayed, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of the Promoter of any kind.

The Promoter reserves the right to declare the Prize Draw void if it considers it unreasonable that the Prize Draw should proceed, whether due to an administrative error or otherwise.

Those entries not in accordance with the Prize Draw Terms will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the Prize Draw; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the Prize Draw.

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Prize Draw Terms or if the Promoter believes that your conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the Prize Draw into disrepute, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to make your entry void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Prize Draw.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.

This Prize Draw and any issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
